On The ROOB Radar
This is one of those days I'd rather be spending in bed...It's that time of the month, I have a headache, feel bloated and the gloomy weather outside reflects my body's state ~ends whining~
*Shaking gloomy mood* We have a sidebar feature titled; View Of The Week and this week Natascha added a pic to the sidebar. Can I say that I want to go bump and grind with him, like, right this minute!! Last week Pearl knocked it out of the park with her Happy Abs Day and now Natascha gave me a drool worthy view, it's always the silent ones that you have to look out for, they can surprise the ever living daylights out of me with these kind of pics or in Pearl's case a youtube vid LOL
Today there's another ROOB Radar and I am in the mood for some male/male romance. I know we haven't had this genre reviewed at ROOB but someday I hope to change that *grin* So here are my four books that got me very intrigued and hit the pre-order or buy button:
Devlin And Garrick
Cameron Dane

Devlin Morgan and Gradyn Connell have one thing on their minds when they meet in a bar one Friday night in San Francisco. One good, hard fuck.
After the hell he’s been through, Gradyn knows the young man sitting at the end of the bar--with his sweet nervousness and beautiful face--is just what he needs. And Gradyn has absolutely no problem getting up to say hello.
Devlin knows inviting muscle-bound, tattooed Gradyn to his motel room is the riskiest thing he’s ever done, but there’s something in the man’s warm green eyes that tells Devlin everything will be all right.
One explosive encounter in Devlin’s motel room is the plan. Only, it turns out one hot fuck isn’t enough for either man. Dinner afterward leads to another round in bed, and what follows is a weekend together that stirs more emotions than either Devlin or Gradyn ever expected to feel.
Fast forward five years. Devlin has never forgotten Gradyn but he has moved on with his life. That is, until he walks into his sister’s workplace and comes face to face with the man from his wild weekend in San Francisco.
Except, this man is calling himself Garrick Langley. This man is a shell of the man Devlin remembers and hardly looks like the same person. And the biggest kick in Devlin’s gut? This Garrick Langley pretends he doesn’t know Devlin at all.
No. Fucking. Way.
Devlin doesn’t care what this man looks like or that he has a new name. Garrick Langley is Gradyn Connell, and they both know it. Devlin is a lot more secure in his own skin now, and he wants answers. This Garrick had better look out because Devlin won’t stop until he uncovers every one of Gradyn’s secrets.
Note: This title contains male/male acts of loving, including oral, anal and rimming. Also includes scene with mild bondage and spanking.
A Hidden Magic by Angela Benedetti

Fey incursions into the mortal world have been on the rise, and Paul MacAllister's trying to figure out what the king of the local Elven enclave Under the Hill is up to and how to stop it. Rory Ellison was caught up in one of those attacks and nearly killed by a gang of goblins. He doesn't believe they were real, though, and is resisting anything Paul might say to the contrary.
Normally Paul would be willing to let Rory go his own way, at least until he's taken care of more immediate business. But Rory has a particularly rare gift, one the Elven king needs to have under his control in order to carry out his plan. Keeping Rory away from the fey who will use him, to death if necessary, means protecting him night and day, whether Rory agrees or not.
Kate Steele’s A Sure-Fire Cure
Genre: LGBT Contemporary Western
Length: Novel

Who knew love could be dangerous?
After his betrayal at the hands of a former lover, veterinarian Dean Conlon, has first hand knowledge. Despite that, his attraction to handsome horse breeder, Scott Whittaker, is immediate and undeniable.
While Dean struggles against his own fears, Scott wages a tempting campaign of seduction. As the walls come down, Dean and Scott discover a love greater than either could have foreseen and a danger that rises to separate them forever.
Someone else is in love with Dean and they’ll do whatever it takes, including murder, to claim Dean for their own.
Publisher’s Note: This book is a homoerotic love story and as such contains acts that may be offensive to some readers: male/male sex practices.
Savage Sanctuary by Jacqueline Barbary
Carina press release: June 21st 2010

Sexy bad boy shapeshifter Michael O’Dare grew up on the streets. When government soldiers finally captured and imprisoned him, he became a lab rat and a collared slave, never again allowed to be human. His escape allowed him to return to human form, and head for freedom in the Western Territories
Robert Hamilton-Scott had lived by the code “you’re careful, or you’re caught” for too long to take chances now. The one risk he takes in his carefully controlled life is offering temporary shelter to shifters on the run like Michael.
Robert knows it’s definitely not safe to want the sexy renegade he’s giving sanctuary to—passion is dangerous for a shapeshifter. As the soldiers close in he must choose between the careful life he’s built or life on the run with the man who has captured his heart.
So that was it, the four M/M books on my radar :)

Everytime I see a m/m cover and read the synopsis I'm totally sicked and going: 'I sooooo need to start reading m/m' but a few weeks back you gave me a reality check with that comic style novel on your personal blog which made me doubt if it in fact is something for me.
Then again.... that was graphic and this is written... I think I just need to try one and see if it might be something I can appreciate...
But dang these are great books!
Me and m/m just don't mesh (yet?) but I know every time I hear you rave about it, I do wonder if I am missing something here ;) Who knows maybe someday I will take the plunge and try a m/m romance...I am definitely not ready for m/m erotica or the comic style novel Natascha mentioned...
One thing is sure, you've definitely got someting to look forward to with these 4 books.
